All these attempts and not a decent Christmas card photo in the bunch. At Thanksgiving, Grandma Ione gave Grace and Haven these adorable holiday outfits. I dressed them up for our Bible study Christmas party in the hope that we might get one perfect shot and avoid a trip to JCPenny's. But no such luck! The first picture of Grace actually has her looking sweet and smiley, but it is really bleary. Grace absolutely refused to have her picture taken with Haven and Haven kept trying to tear things off the Christmas tree. On our tree at home (these pics were taken at a friends house) we don't have any ornaments on the bottom 2 feet of the tree. Our friend Margaret took a bunch of pictures on her camera and they turned out marginally better (not a problem with the photographer, just the subject matter), but when she emailed them to me, they are all turned sideways and I can't figure out how to tip them right side up? So this is what we have to work with--a bunch of pictures of my children looking stunned, annoyed, disgruntled, but not too cute! Oh, well, we'll try again next Monday!!!
